The win is notable not only for its size, but also for its rarity. This is just the second time the main jackpot has ever been won since the lottery launched.

Only the Second Jackpot Win in SHFL Lottery History

The first SHFL Lottery jackpot dropped on the 41st draw, held on 25 July 2025, when a single player walked away with $2,509,021.10. This latest result surpasses that figure, setting a new benchmark for the platform.

The winning numbers, drawn in order, were:

Powerball: 5

With one winning ticket and no shared prizes, the entire jackpot was awarded to a single participant.

Jackpot Resets to $1 Million Ahead of Next Draw

Following the win, Shuffle has reset the SHFL Lottery jackpot to $1,000,000 for the next draw, scheduled for Friday, 19 December 2025.

As with previous rounds, the prize pool is expected to grow steadily throughout the week as players purchase tickets. With Christmas approaching, attention will now turn to whether the jackpot can fall twice in the same month.

Players stake 50 SHFL per ticket
Each ticket is perpetual, meaning it is entered into every draw until the SHFL is unstaked
Tickets offer long-term value for frequent participants

Buy Single-Entry Tickets

Players can also buy tickets for a single draw, like you would do if getting a ticket for the US Powerball or EuroMillions lotteries. Shuffle offers two types of single-entry tickets:

Standard Entry: costs $0.25 per ticket
Powerball Entry: costs $4.00 per ticket (this guarantees you the Powerball number)
