Launched this month, Cases is a brand-new provably fair game on Stake that puts a fresh spin on the classic slot experience. But is it any good?

Inspired by video game loot boxes (like those in first-person shooter titles), Stake has combined that concept with elements of Plinko and a roulette-style interface to create a simple yet tension-packed game.

The premise is straightforward: you “open” a case to reveal a random prize multiplier, which can range from negligible to a massive jackpot. With a maximum win of 10,000× your bet and a high return-to-player (RTP) of about 98%, Cases promises an exciting twist to classic online slot games, offering both simplicity and suspense in each round.

What we thought

We found the Cases graphics simplistic and not hugely engaging compared with slot games from publishers like Hacksaw. Cases is a simple game to understand though, and it is comparable to a slot machine with a high return to player.  We did like the fact that you can adjust volatility and that the game is provably fair.  Would we play it again? Maybe, but only after we've played other slots on the site first.
