The 2025 WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas runs December 2–22 with 78 tournaments. The schedule features new PLO and mixed game events, large guaranteed prize pools, high rollers, Ladies and Seniors Championships, and two televised marquee tournaments.

The World Poker Tour (WPT) and Wynn Las Vegas have announced the schedule for the 2025 WPT World Championship Festival, set to run from December 2 to 22, 2025. 

Over three weeks, players will have access to 78 tournaments and satellites, marking one of the most comprehensive schedules in the event’s history. 

With buy-ins spanning from $600 entry-level events to $25,800 high rollers, the festival offers options across all bankrolls while maintaining the prestige associated with the WPT brand and Wynn Las Vegas.

2025 WPT World Championship Full Schedule and Satellites

The 2025 festival represents a notable expansion compared to prior years. More than two dozen satellites, beginning at $200, provide accessible entry points into major events. 

This ensures players at all levels have a pathway into the largest tournaments, while still delivering an extensive range of formats and structures.

New Additions for 2025

Several tournaments have been added to the schedule for the first time, broadening the variety of games offered:
  • $1,600 PLO Mystery Bounty – December 7–8
  • $1,600 NLH $1 Million GTD – December 12–13 (single starting day)
  • $1,100 NLH $2 Million GTD – December 16–19
  • Nearly a dozen Pot-Limit Omaha and 5-Card PLO events
  • Expanded mixed games lineup including HORSE, TORSE, Omaha 8, Big O, OE, Mixed Triple Draw, and 2-7 Mixed Limits

These additions reflect the growing demand for diverse formats beyond No-Limit Hold’em.

Returning Popular Events

Alongside new tournaments, several established favorites return in 2025.

Large Guaranteed NLH Events

  • $800 NLH Opening Event ($1 Million GTD) – December 2–6
  • $1,600 NLH ($1 Million GTD) – December 5–7
  • $1,600 NLH ($1 Million GTD) – December 20–22
  • $3,000 NLH ($3 Million GTD) – December 18–20

High Roller Tournaments

  • $25,800 NLH High Roller – December 17–18
  • $25,800 NLH High Roller – December 18–19

Championships for Women and Seniors

Dedicated events remain a highlight of the festival:
  • Ladies Championship – $1,100 buy-in, $250,000 GTD, December 13–14
  • Seniors Championship – $1,100 buy-in, December 18–20
  • Seniors High Roller – $10,000 buy-in, December 20–22

These events continue to create inclusive opportunities across the festival, offering competitive prize pools and recognition within the broader schedule.

Marquee Championship Events

The two headline tournaments anchor the festival:

  • Dates: December 13–19
  • Televised Final Table: December 21

WPT Prime Championship
  • Buy-in: $1,100
  • Dates: December 7–12
  • Guaranteed Prize Pool: $5,000,000
  • Televised Final Table: December 20

These events represent the pinnacle of the series, attracting international fields and extensive media coverage.

Festival Atmosphere and Players Party

To complement the tournament action, WPT will host a Players Party on December 12 at 8 p.m. at Odyssey Noir, Area 15, Las Vegas. 

Entry is exclusive to participants of the WPT Prime Championship, Ladies Championship, and WPT World Championship, with proof of buy-in required. 

The event promises music, entertainment, and an opportunity for players to connect away from the tables.
