CoinPoker Reveals 37-Day GOPC Schedule With $50 Million Prize Pool

CoinPoker's Global Online Poker Championship (GOPC) will take place from August 23 to September 28, boasting a $50 million guaranteed prize pool over 37 days and multiple event formats. The series is open to verified players in Europe, LATAM, and Asia, with buy-ins from $2.20 to $25,500. Highlights include Main Events with $4.25M in guarantees, four $1M CoinMillion tournaments, Bitcoin events, High Rollers, and regional leaderboards. Over $350,000 will also be distributed in promos and additional rewards during the championship.

CoinPoker’s Global Online Poker Championship runs from August 23 through September 28 with $50 million in guaranteed prize pools. The 37-day series features Main Events, CoinMillion tournaments, CoinMasters BTC competitions, High Rollers, Weekenders, medals and $350,000 in promotional prize pools.

CoinPoker’s Global Online Poker Championship (GOPC) is scheduled to run from August 23 through September 28, with $50 million in guaranteed prize pools spread across a 37-day tournament series.

The championship covers Europe, LATAM and Asia, with buy-ins ranging from $2.20 to $25,500. Its schedule includes multiple Main Events, CoinMillion tournaments, CoinMasters BTC competitions, High Rollers, Weekenders and championship events across different poker formats.

Eligible players can also compete for Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in numbered GOPC events. Gold Medal winners receive physical trophies shipped to them alongside digital Gold Medals, while Silver and Bronze awards are presented digitally.

The three GOPC Main Event tiers combine for $4.25 million in guaranteed prize pools. The flagship Main Event has a $530 buy-in and a $3 million guarantee. 

The Global Main features a $55 buy-in and $1 million guarantee, while the Global Mini Main has an $11 buy-in and $250,000 guarantee. The $530 Main Event includes Day 1 flights throughout the series, with Day 2 scheduled for September 28.

CoinPoker will stage four CoinMillion GOPC editions during September. Each tournament carries a $215 buy-in and $1 million guarantee.

The tournaments are scheduled for September 6, 13, 20 and 27, with one edition taking place each Sunday.

CoinMillion champions receive GOPC Gold Medals and are added to the CoinMillion Hall of Champions. Satellites and Steps are also available, including routes offering free access.
The GOPC schedule includes several CoinMasters BTC events at different buy-in levels.
The lineup includes the $25 Mini CoinMasters BTC, the $150 CoinMasters BTC and the $1,500 CoinMasters BTC High Roller.

The $150 CoinMasters BTC carries a $400,000 guarantee across the series, while a special $150 BTC event features a $500,000 guarantee. The $1,500 CoinMasters BTC High Roller carries a $1 million guarantee. CoinMasters winners receive Gold Medal trophies and digital CoinMasters Coins.

High Rollers Include $25,500 Championship

The series also features several high buy-in tournaments. The $25,500 Super High Roller Championship carries a $1 million guarantee and is scheduled for September 22 as a single-day event.

A $10,300 High Roller Championship is scheduled during the final week and carries a $500,000 guarantee.

Other high roller events include the $5,200 High Roller 8-Max Championship with a $500,000 guarantee, the $5,000 High Roller Opening Ceremony with a $500,000 guarantee, the $5,000 Record Breaker High Roller with a $500,000 guarantee and the $5,000 PLO Championship High Roller with a $200,000 guarantee.

Three Weekender levels are included in the GOPC schedule. The Big Weekender has a $125 buy-in and $200,000 guarantee. The Weekender features a $55 buy-in and $100,000 guarantee, while the Mini Weekender has an $11 buy-in and $25,000 guarantee.

Day 1 flights run from Thursday through Saturday, twice daily in each regional time zone, followed by Sunday finals.


Six Weeks of Championship Action

The first week, running from August 23 to 29, features the Opening Ceremony, 6-Max Championships, the $5,000 High Roller Opening Ceremony, the $150 CoinMasters BTC and flights for the $55 Global Main and $11 Global Mini Main.

From August 30 to September 5, the schedule moves into Weekenders, 8-Max Championships, CoinMillion satellites and Steps, along with the $5,200 High Roller 8-Max Championship.

The third week, from September 6 to 12, includes the first $215 CoinMillion GOPC Edition, the $3 million Main Event, the $1 million CoinMasters BTC High Roller and Turbo Championships.

From September 13 to 19, the schedule brings PKO Championships, the second $1 million CoinMillion tournament and Deepstack Championships.

The fifth week, from September 20 to 26, features CoinMasters events, the third $1 million CoinMillion, the $25,500 Super High Roller, the $5,000 PLO Championship High Roller and the $5,000 Record Breaker High Roller.

The final two days, September 27 and 28, include the fourth CoinMillion, final Main Event flights, the $10,300 High Roller Championship, PLO Championships and the $150 CoinMasters BTC. The Regional Leaderboards and Podium Race also conclude during the final week.

$350,000 Available Through Additional Promotions

Beyond the tournament guarantees, the GOPC includes $350,000 in additional promotional prize pools.
Regional Leaderboards account for $200,000 and are divided between Europe, LATAM and Asia. Each region has High, Mid and Low tiers.

Europe’s leaderboard pools are $55,000 for High, $30,000 for Mid and $20,000 for Low. LATAM has $25,000, $17,500 and $12,500 respectively, while Asia has $17,500, $12,500 and $10,000. The High tiers pay 10 places, while Mid pays 15 places and Low pays 30 places.

The $20,000 Podium Race awards points based on medal finishes. Gold earns 10 points, Silver earns five and Bronze earns two. The top five players share the $20,000 prize pool.

A further $130,000 is allocated to Bankroll Boosts, including tournament tickets, personalized missions and other second-chance rewards.

Regional Leaderboard Scoring

Under the given scoring formula, A represents total tournament entries, B represents the tournament buy-in and C represents the player’s finishing position.

Leaderboard points are awarded only to players who finish in the money in eligible numbered GOPC events. Satellites, freerolls, private events and cancelled tournaments do not count unless expressly stated otherwise.

The championship features three regional teams.
  • Team Europe: Patrick Leonard and Mario Mosböck
  • Team LATAM: Alejandro “Papo MC” Lococo and Yuri Dzivielevski
  • Team Asia: Steve Yea and Congya Zhang
