Mohamed Zazri has bubbled the 2026 PokerStars EPT Barcelona Main Event in 272nd place. His pair lost to Josep Ruiz’s A8o on JQKKA after Zazri committed his final 10,000, while 205 players advanced to Day 3 on Tuesday, August 25.

Day 2 of the 2026 PokerStars EPT Barcelona Main Event has concluded, with 205 players bagging their chips for Day 3 on Tuesday, August 25. The tournament drew a total of 1,823 players, while the min-cash is €9,900.

Among those who did not make it through was Mohamed Zazri, who bubbled the Main Event in 272nd place.

Zazri's tournament came to an end after he flicked in his final 10,000 from early position. Josep Ruiz was the only player interested in the pot and called from the button.

The hand was played out after all other tables had completed their hands and the cameras had arrived at the table. The cards were then tabled.

Zazri's pocket pair did not hold against Ruiz's A8o. The board ran out JQKKA, giving Ruiz the winning hand and ending Zazri's run in the tournament.

Zazri quickly left the tournament area in 272nd place, becoming the player to bubble the 2026 PokerStars EPT Barcelona Main Event.
With Zazri eliminated on the bubble, 205 players remain from the tournament's total field of 1,823 entries and have bagged their chips for Day 3.

Play resumes on Tuesday, August 25, with the minimum cash standing at €9,900. The end of Day 2 therefore leaves the remaining 205 players to continue the Main Event, while Zazri's elimination secured the 272nd-place finish at the point just before the tournament reached its paid positions.
