APT Jeju 2025 became the richest poker festival in Korean history, drawing 11,821 entries from 48 countries and generating KRW 18.46 billion in prizes. The record-breaking series featured landmark Main Event and High Rollers, highlighted by Ngo Khoa Anh’s victory.

The Asian Poker Tour’s Jeju 2025 festival made history by breaking two major international records and elevating its status as the richest APT festival ever held in Korea. 

Over 10 days at the LES A Casino in Jeju Shinhwa World, the series attracted 1,444 unique players from 48 countries, producing 11,821 total entries over 99 trophy events and 4 satellites. 

The combined prize pool reached a staggering KRW 18,463,730,934 (≈ USD 13.19 million). This year’s edition saw a 37 % increase in entries and nearly 49.7 % growth in prize money compared to APT Jeju 2024, with six additional trophy events on the schedule. Thirteen national records were also broken during the festival. 

APT Jeju 2025 Main Event (KRW 2.6M buy-in)

1,693 total entries made the tournament the largest field ever recorded in Korea for an APT Main Event. Abraham Ceesvin won the APT Jeju 2025 Main Event for a sum of KRW 649,835,200 (~USD 464,170). 

The final prize pool was KRW 3,803,155,200 (~USD 2,716,540) and the title holder also scored APT Championship Main Event seat worth KRW 14 million (USD 10,000). The runner-up was Lili Tang who had a payday of KRW 364,460,000 (USD 260,330) and an APT Championship Main Event seat.

Signature Lion Trophy Events

  • Super High Roller (KRW 15M): 97 entries, record field size, prize pool, and top prize for the event in Korea; second richest prize pool in the festival.
  • APT High Roller (KRW 5M): Field and prize pool records broken; fourth largest prize pool of the festival. 
  • SuperStar Challenge (KRW 35M): Generated the third-largest pool, at KRW 1.326 billion.

The festival’s top 10 events cumulatively accounted for KRW 12,907,716,900 of the total prize money.

Ngo Khoa Anh Triumphs in APT High Roller

One of the festival’s marquee events—the APT High Roller (KRW 5M buy-in)—featured the tour’s largest Korean High Roller field ever, with 305 entries. The prize pool reached KRW 1,317,600,000. 

Vietnam’s Ngo Khoa Anh eventually claimed the title after a fast heads-up showdown against Fabian Gumz and grabbed a pay cheque of KRW 261,400,000 (~USD 186,715) and an APT Championship Main Event seat worth KRW 14 million (USD 10,000).

APT Jeju 2025 wasn’t just about prize money—it signaled Korea’s growing dominance in the Asian poker arena. 

By smashing records in field size and payout, the festival underscored APT’s continued expansion and the rising competitive standards across Asia.
