Leeds Rhinos are tipped to win their Super League semi-final clash against Warrington Wolves, leveraging home advantage and a week’s rest. Despite key players missing, Leeds’ forward power and superior field control are likely to outweigh Warrington’s recent momentum and improved defence. Both sides offer scoring threats, but Leeds’ ability to generate attacking opportunities and their two wins over Warrington this season adds confidence. The forecast predicts Leeds edging the match 24-18, with Over 34.5 total points as a betting angle and Chris Hankinson as a tryscorer pick.

Leeds Rhinos vs Warrington Wolves Super League Semi-Final Tips & Prediction

Leeds are backed to use home advantage and their week off to book a place at Old Trafford, with the Rhinos laying -4.5 against Warrington.

Warrington are dangerous after producing one of their best performances of the season against Hull KR, but Leeds have already beaten them twice in 2026, winning 26-22 at Headingley before a dominant 34-6 victory away from home.

The Rhinos should have the stronger platform through the middle and that territorial advantage could be decisive. Warrington's defence has improved considerably, but Leeds' ability to generate metres and offloads should create enough attacking opportunities over 80 minutes. The Kinetic Rugby analysis also leaned towards Leeds controlling field position more consistently through their pack.

There are enough attacking threats on both sides to also bring Over 34.5 points into play, while Chris Hankinson is the tryscorer selection after crossing three times in his last four appearances.

Leeds have beaten Warrington twice in 2026.
Leeds won the most recent meeting 34-6.
The last 10 meetings are split five wins apiece.
Matty Ashton scored three tries against Hull KR.
Chris Hankinson has scored three tries in his last four games.

Leeds Rhinos Form Analysis

Leeds have had the advantage of a week off after finishing second, giving Brad Arthur extra time to reset following a difficult end to the regular season.

The biggest concern is the absence of Lachie Miller, whose running threat and ability to extend plays have been a major part of Leeds' attack. The Rhinos have had extra preparation time to adjust, however, and Brodie Croft and Jake Connor remain capable of controlling the game through the halves.

Their forward pack remains the key reason to favour Leeds. If they win the territorial battle, they should spend more time attacking inside Warrington's 20 and eventually create enough chances to cover the line.

Warrington Wolves Form Analysis

Warrington arrive with genuine momentum after dismantling reigning champions Hull KR 35-12 in the Eliminator.

Ashton was outstanding with a hat-trick, while George Williams gives the Wolves the creativity required to expose any uncertainty in Leeds' reshuffled backline. Warrington's defensive performances have also improved significantly over the closing stages of the season.

Their challenge is matching Leeds through the middle for the full 80 minutes. Warrington can stay close, but the Rhinos should get slightly more opportunities in attacking territory.

Leeds Rhinos vs Warrington Wolves Team News

Leeds are without Lachie Miller, Ash Handley and Jack Bird for the semi-final, forcing some changes across their backline. Maika Sivo, Harry Newman, Brodie Croft, Jake Connor and Chris Hankinson are all included in the squad.

Warrington arrive in much better shape, with George Williams, Matty Ashton, Toby King and Danny Walker all available following last week's Eliminator victory.

Verdict

Warrington are playing well enough to make this a genuine contest, but Leeds' home advantage, fresher legs and stronger forward platform can make the difference.
