Parramatta have lost three of their last four matches, but their effort against Penrith last week was considerably better than their recent results suggest.

The Eels led 12-0 and forced the Panthers to fight their way back into the contest before eventually losing 24-18. Mitchell Moses controlled the opening stages well, while Jack Williams scored twice against the ladder leaders.

The return of Junior Paulo from a knee injury strengthens the interchange and should help Parramatta establish control through the middle. 

Moses, Ronald Volkman and Isaiah Iongi then have the opportunity to attack a Tigers defensive line conceding an average of 30 points per game this season.
