NFL Week 2 Best Bets - Top Value Accumulator

We have found the best picks in NFL Week 2 so you don't have to scour the internet looking for them. At the bottom is also our Top Value Accumulator for the round.

Note: All odds correct at time of publishing

Pittsburgh Steelers @ New England Patriots

Bet: New England Under 23.5 Team Total

Pittsburgh's offense was flat last week, and we're not pretending otherwise. But flat offenses tend to find life when the opponent is missing its best skill players and the opposing quarterback threw three interceptions against a team that was also flat.

Drake Maye looks unreliable right now and the Patriots come into this one without A.J. Brown and with TreVeyon Henderson's status uncertain. T.J. Watt had a pick-six and two sacks in Week 1, he is the most dangerous player on the field Sunday and he's lining up against a right tackle who hasn't yet proven he can handle elite edge pressure at this level. Pittsburgh's defense runs through Watt, and New England's offense doesn't have enough healthy weapons to make up the difference on the other side.

Why We Like It
  • New England's top receivers are unavailable or in doubt and Maye has nowhere near enough support to manufacture points against a Steelers defense that's built around takeaways
  • T.J. Watt vs. Morgan Moses is the game's defining matchup

Indianapolis Colts @ Kansas City Chiefs

Pick: Kenneth Walker III over 79.5 Rush Yards

This one reads as a mismatch from both sides of the ball. Kenneth Walker just posted 173 yards and 7.5 per carry in his debut, and the Colts surrendered 144 rushing yards at 6.0 per carry to Derrick Henry a week ago. The Colts' left tackle is allowing a 23% pressure rate, and Anthony Jones is walking into one of the league's most complete defensive units.

Indy's secondary was shredded for 324 yards at 13.0 yards per attempt in Week 1. There's no obvious angle that suggests things get better against Kansas City.

Why We Like It
  • Walker has a clear runway to repeat his Week 1 output against a Colts run defense that has shown nothing to discourage that
  • Kansas City's defense is playing at a high level, and Indianapolis's quarterback and offensive line give no reason for confidence against this caliber of opposition

New Orleans Saints @ Baltimore Ravens

Pick: Derrick Henry 2+ Touchdowns

Baltimore put up 41 points and 500-plus yards in Week 1, converted all five red zone trips, and Derrick Henry finished with 144 yards, three touchdowns, and 6.0 per carry. New Orleans just surrendered 156 yards at 5.4 per carry to Jahmyr Gibbs, with two touchdowns.

The Saints also lost that game despite getting 410 passing yards and three touchdowns from their quarterback, but three turnovers and five sacks made the final score irrelevant. New Orleans is now walking into Baltimore's building against a Ravens pass rush that generated pressure on more than half of snaps in Week 1, with an offensive line that allowed a 40% pressure rate last week.

Why We Like It
  • Henry vs. New Orleans' run defense is as clean a matchup advantage as any on this slate, the numbers from both Week 1s point in the same direction

Carolina Panthers @ Atlanta Falcons Accumulator

Pick: Bijan Robinson TD, over 81.5 Rush Yards and over 15.5 Longest Rush

Carolina's defense was historically bad in Week 1 with 550-plus yards allowed, 10-of-14 third-down conversions surrendered, and 291 rushing yards at 7.5 per carry against two different backs. Bijan Robinson had 83 rushing yards and eight catches for 90 yards and a touchdown in Week 1, and he was Atlanta's entire offense on a day when their passing game was a disaster.

Atlanta's offense will need to clean up its red zone execution and get the quarterback situation settled, but Robinson doesn't need a functional passing game to hurt Carolina. He needs a defense that can be exploited in the run game, and that is exactly what Carolina served up last week.

Why We Like It
  • Robinson has the matchup every running back dreams of, a defense that gave up 291 yards at 7.5 per carry last week, and he was already the best back either team faced in Week 1
