The Super League playoffs kick off with Wakefield Trinity vs Leigh Leopards and Warrington Wolves vs Hull KR. Predictions tip Wakefield to cover a -4.5 handicap at home after beating Leigh recently, citing their depth and stronger pack. For the second match, Warrington is tipped to win outright, but Hull KR +6.5 is recommended in the handicap market due to their rest advantage and ability to trouble the Wolves. The article's key recommendation: Wakefield to cover as favorites; Hull KR to keep it close as underdogs.

Super League Playoff Eliminator Predictions 2026: Best Handicap Tips

The Super League playoffs begin with two tight eliminators, as Wakefield host Leigh in a rematch of the final regular-season round before Warrington and Hull KR meet for the fourth time this year.

Both favourites get the nod to progress, although Hull KR's +6.5 start looks appealing in Saturday's clash.

Wakefield Trinity vs Leigh Leopards

Prediction: Wakefield Trinity
Handicap Tip: Wakefield Trinity -4.5

Wakefield beat Leigh 19-8 away from home only a week ago and now get the rematch on their own ground.

Leigh should improve with their season on the line, but Wakefield still hold the advantage through a stronger pack and deeper rotational options, which should help them generate more territory as the game develops.

Trinity also made better use of their attacking opportunities in the previous meeting, so Wakefield -4.5 gets the nod.

Warrington Wolves vs Hull KR

Prediction: Warrington Wolves
Handicap Tip: Hull KR +6.5

Warrington have already beaten Hull KR twice in Super League this season and have improved considerably since George Williams returned, but this looks much closer than a 6.5-point line suggests.

KR should be stronger through the middle after resting most of their senior side in Round 27, while their ability to generate post-contact metres and offloads can cause Warrington problems.

The Wolves have enough attacking quality to edge the eliminator, but Hull KR +6.5 looks the better handicap play.

Verdict

Wakefield will cover as the favourite while we are backing Hull KR to keep things close as the underdog.
