Madison Keys faces rising Czech star Linda Noskova in a high-stakes Wimbledon fourth-round clash. Keys enters the match with renewed confidence, having won eight straight matches including the Eastbourne title, and boasts significant Slam experience. Noskova, fresh off lifting the Berlin trophy and coming back from the brink in her last match, brings superb grass-court skills and consistency. With both in strong form, Keys’ greater Grand Slam experience could give her the edge to advance, but Noskova is a dangerous opponent who can't be underestimated.

Madison Keys' experience and recent momentum will be tested by Linda Noskova, who arrives with excellent grass-court form after her Berlin title.

Keys Faces A Dangerous Challenger

  • Keys holds a 2–3 record in Wimbledon fourth-round matches.
  • She is on a nine-match winning streak against Czech players at Grand Slams.
  • Noskova holds a 1–1 record in fourth-round Grand Slam matches.
  • She owns a 15–5 career record against players outside the Top 20 on grass.

This will be their first meeting.

American Rediscovers Her Best

Madison Keys came from a set down to defeat last year's finalist and fellow American Amanda Anisimova 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 and reach the fourth round at Wimbledon. After dropping the opening set, she did not face a single break point over the final two sets and took complete control of the match.

This is Keys' sixth appearance in the fourth round at Wimbledon. She has converted two of her previous five appearances into quarterfinal runs, in 2015 and 2023.

With this victory, Keys extended her winning streak to eight matches after lifting the Eastbourne title. She also reached the quarterfinals in Berlin a few weeks ago.

The American dropped out of the top 20 earlier this season after a disappointing Australian swing and missing the Middle East events through injury. However, she has steadily rediscovered her best tennis since the start of the clay season.

Keys heads into this clash with a 12-12 career record in Grand Slam fourth-round matches. Her most recent victory at this stage came at Roland Garros last year.

Czech Continues Strong Season

Linda Noskova moved into the fourth round after defeating Sorana Cirstea 2-6, 6-3, 7-6 at Wimbledon. She trailed by a break in the deciding set and saved a match point before producing a remarkable comeback.

This is Noskova's second consecutive fourth-round appearance at Wimbledon. Last year, she also reached this stage before losing to Amanda Anisimova in three sets. She now faces another American for a place in the quarterfinals.

The Czech has enjoyed another strong season, highlighted by the Berlin title, the semifinals at Indian Wells, the quarterfinals in Madrid and Stuttgart, and the fourth round in Rome.

Those consistent results have established Noskova among the top players on tour, and she continues to improve across all surfaces.

Noskova heads into this clash with a 1-1 career record in Grand Slam fourth-round matches. Her only victory at this stage came at the 2024 Australian Open.

Verdict

Linda Noskova showcased her quality on grass by lifting the Berlin title a few weeks ago and has carried that level into Wimbledon. However, Madison Keys has rediscovered her confidence in recent months, arrives with strong momentum, and brings greater Grand Slam experience, making her the stronger choice to progress.
