Manly Sea Eagles vs Dolphins Verdict

Manly have lost five in a row to leave their finals chances hanging by a thread. That should become six straight when the finals-bound Dolphins visit with a big score predicted for the visitors.

Manly have lost five consecutive games.
The Sea Eagles have conceded 128 points across their last three matches.
Manly’s last two defeats have come by 36 and 22 points.
The Dolphins have won 11 of their last 13 matches.
Connelly Lemuelu has scored three tries across his last three games.

Head to Head

Manly have historically controlled this matchup, winning three of the four meetings between the clubs.

The Sea Eagles produced a dominant 52-18 victory at Suncorp Stadium earlier this season and won 58-30 at 4 Pines Park in 2025.

The Dolphins’ only victory over Manly came in a 30-24 result in 2024, meaning they are still searching for their first win over the Sea Eagles at 4 Pines Park.

Manly Sea Eagles Form

Manly’s season has fallen apart after five consecutive defeats, with their defence deteriorating badly over the past month.

The Sea Eagles have conceded 42 points to Melbourne, 48 to Cronulla and 38 to Gold Coast across their last three matches. That stretch has seen them allow 128 points, and their most recent loss may have been the most concerning of the lot.

Manly raced to a 14-0 lead against Melbourne before conceding 42 consecutive points. After completing almost 85 per cent of their sets through the opening 30 minutes, they completed just 11 of their next 20 and completely lost control of the contest.

Dolphins Form

The Dolphins have officially booked their first finals appearance and are $10.00 for the Premiership, now having an opportunity to build serious momentum heading towards September.

Their 40-32 win over Brisbane showed both the danger and resilience in this team. The Dolphins fell 24-0 behind inside 24 minutes but fought their way back behind a brilliant Isaiya Katoa performance, with the halfback producing five try assists.

Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow and Selwyn Cobbo both crossed twice, while Lemuelu also scored a double as the Dolphins overwhelmed Brisbane with their attacking weapons.

The Dolphins have now won three consecutive games and 11 of their last 13 overall. Their attack sits fourth in the competition for points and second for run metres.

Verdict

Manly Sea Eagles v Dolphins

Dolphins run away here, scoring over 30.5 points and covering as 10.5 point favourites with Connelly Lemuelu the value try scorer.
