The Sea Eagles have conceded 42 points to Melbourne, 48 to Cronulla and 38 to Gold Coast across their last three matches. That stretch has seen them allow 128 points, and their most recent loss may have been the most concerning of the lot.

Manly raced to a 14-0 lead against Melbourne before conceding 42 consecutive points. After completing almost 85 per cent of their sets through the opening 30 minutes, they completed just 11 of their next 20 and completely lost control of the contest.

Their 40-32 win over Brisbane showed both the danger and resilience in this team. The Dolphins fell 24-0 behind inside 24 minutes but fought their way back behind a brilliant Isaiya Katoa performance, with the halfback producing five try assists.

Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow and Selwyn Cobbo both crossed twice, while Lemuelu also scored a double as the Dolphins overwhelmed Brisbane with their attacking weapons.

The Dolphins have now won three consecutive games and 11 of their last 13 overall. Their attack sits fourth in the competition for points and second for run metres.
