Jacquet Climbs Into the Top 100
Kyrian Jacquet went 2-7 on the ATP Tour this year before a career best performance in Hangzhou last week.
The 25-year-old beat Aleksandar Vukic, Tomas Martin Etcheverry and Fabian Marozsan but fell short in the semi-finals, going down 7-6 6-1 to Andrey Rublev. The run saw him break into the Top 100 for the first time.
Jacquet hardly gave Holger Rune a chance in the first round in Tokyo, winning 6-3 6-1 in 54 minutes. He won 62% (52/84) of the points and didn’t allow a break point against the former World No.4.
Darderi Inconsistent on Hard Courts
