Vit Kopriva vs Zizou Bergs Betting Tips & Live Stream - Bergs to Win in Straight Sets at ATP Shanghai
Zizou Bergs is favored to win in straight sets against Vit Kopriva in the first round of the 2026 ATP Shanghai Masters. Kopriva, who has lost nine straight matches against Top 100 opponents, faces a confident Bergs, who reached the quarter-finals in Shanghai last year. Despite recent fluctuations in his form, Bergs’ overall class and previous success in Shanghai support the prediction. The match is available for live streaming on Stake for registered users. The recommendation is to back a straight sets win for Bergs.

Vit Kopriva hasn’t beaten a Top 100 player on a hard court since January. Zizou Bergs has gone off the boil in recent months but should have too much class in Shanghai.

Kopriva in Poor Form
Vit Kopriva still hasn’t broken into the Top 50 and doesn’t appear to be getting any closer. He has lost 10 of his previous 13 matches, all three wins coming against players outside the Top 150.
The 29-year-old suffered a straight sets defeat to Tomas Martin Etcheverry in the US Open first round. He met Denis Shapovalov in the second round in Chengdu, going down 6-2 6-3 after winning 43% of his 2nd serves.
Kopriva fell in the first qualifier in Beijing last week, beaten 7-6 2-6 7-6 by Alex Molcan. He won 39% of his 2nd serves and saved 7/9 break points against the Slovakian.
Bergs Chasing Second Quarter-Final in Shanghai
Zizou Bergs has been in the Top 50 player for over a year but hasn’t taken the next step. He won his first ATP title in Eastbourne before a third round exit at Wimbledon.
The Belgian has gone 3-5 on the hard court swing, his best result coming in a third round appearance at the US Open.
The 27-year-old competed in Tokyo last week where he pushed Jiri Lehecka in the first round, suffering a narrow 6-3 6-7 6-3 defeat in over three and a half hours.
Bergs went deep in Shanghai last year, beating Sebastian Korda and Casper Ruud before a quarter-final defeat to Novak Djokovic.

Verdict
Zizou Bergs has been below his best but should be too strong for Vit Kopriva. The odds are short on the Belgian so I am placing a small stake on a straight sets win in Shanghai.
