This article provides expert betting tips for Saturday's ITV races at Cheltenham, including the JCB Triumph Trial Juvenile Hurdle, Arkle Trial Novices' Chase, and the Paddy Power Gold Cup. Secret Force is recommended for the Juvenile Hurdle with its impressive previous performance. Be Aware is highlighted for the Arkle Trial Novices' Chase, showing stamina and agility. Kikijo is favored for the Handicap Hurdle, bringing solid form from France and prior UK races. The Intermediate Handicap Hurdle sees Last Rodeo as a promising pick, particularly in softer conditions.

If the weather gods relent, ITV Racing fans have got another excellent afternoon of action to enjoy at Cheltenham tomorrow. Two Grade Two contests feature on Saturday's card, along with the thrilling Paddy Power Gold Cup Handicap Chase.

Here are my best betting tips for Saturday's ITV races, plus a bonus selection for the opening Grade Two.

12:35pm Cheltenham - JCB Triumph Trial Juvenile Hurdle Tips

French recruits Precious Man and Parchment have been all the rage in the betting for Saturday's opener. I much prefer the chances of SECRET FORCE (11/2) for the Gavin Cromwell operation.

A winner on heavy ground at Listowel on his final start on the flat, Secret Force scored an impressive victory on his hurdling debut at Punchestown. Cromwell's three-year-old jumped neatly and travelled into the race powerfully, seeing off a much more experienced rival in Hopes Are High to record a six-length success.

Softer ground on Saturday should suit, given how well he handled testing conditions at Listowel, and Keith Donoghue is excellent around Cheltenham. Secret Force looks to have a massive chance.

1:45pm Cheltenham - Arkle Trial Novices' Chase Tips

There are lots of similarities between BE AWARE (11/4) and last year's winner, L'Eau Du Sud. Both secured creditable results during two season running in high-profile handicap hurdles, and both made winning chasing debuts around Stratford before targeting this Grade Two.

Harry Skelton's mount jumped nicely around Stratford, travelling comfortably behind Grandeur d'Ame. The leader's fall at the last made Be Aware's task easier, but I'm sure the favourite would have won anyway, as he crossed the line with plenty left up his sleeve.

Skelton's charge has run well here at Cheltenham in the past, most notably when second to one of today's rivals, Burdett Road in last year's Greatwood. There's no doubt that Be Aware will stay much further than this two-mile trip, but he's sharp enough to cope and testing ground will bring his stamina to the fore.

Supremely West and Long Draw ran well behind Ma Shantou during the Showcase Meeting, and the former's heavy-ground win at Haydock last season has seen him backed into firm favouritism. Both will have to give 18 pounds to KIKIJO (11/2), who'll likely improve for an encouraging reappearance at Aintree.

Philip Hobbs and Johnson White's recruit won well on his sole start in France, but struggled on his first couple of outings on British soil. Following a short break, Kikijo won a handicap chase at Newbury, before suffering a narrow defeat in a three-mile chase back in Berkshire in March.

Back over hurdles at Aintree, Kikijo didn't jump particularly well, but stayed on gamely to finish three lengths adrift of Ernest Gray. Sean Houlihan's mount remains well-handicapped and his two career victories have come on soft and very soft ground.

3:30pm Cheltenham - Intermediate Handicap Hurdle Tips

While the likes of Jurancon, Royal Infantry and French Ship boast obvious claims, my eyes are drawn to LAST RODEO (14/1). Despite finishing 23-lengths adrift of French Ship on his reappearance here in October, Christian Williams has been able to secure the services of Harry Cobden - who is very selective when picking up spare rides.

Williams will have gone home cursing his luck that day. Last Rodeo was still travelling nicely in the middle of the pack approaching the fifth, where he stumbled over two falls and was almost brought-down, but Jack Tudor kept his spot in the saddle and was able to complete the contest.

Having run well for third as a 66/1 outsider on his second maiden hurdle outing at Taunton, Last Rodeo motored to an easy win at Lingfield on his final outing of last season, where Tudor's mount seemed to relish testing ground. Conditions should be ideal for this full sibling to 146-rated chaser Malina Girl. Cobden must think he has a chance of contending.
