Canterbury Bulldogs have lost four in a row and are leaking points. The Sharks have a great record in this fixture and can get 2026 NRL Magic Round underwat by covering the short -4.5 line.

The return of Ronaldo Mulitalo and Jesse Ramien is massive for this matchup. Mulitalo is back from the ACL injury he suffered playing for New Zealand last October and Ramien returns after missing 4 games with a knee injury.

The concern is the middle rotation. Blayke Brailey is out with concussion and Cameron McInnes is missing with an ankle injury, leaving Jayden Berrell at hooker and Jesse Colquhoun at lock. 

Cronulla can still score enough to win this game, but they need to be far cleaner defensively than they have been.

Canterbury Bulldogs Form - Dogs Lose 4 Straight


Canterbury are coming off four straight losses and the defence has been belted. The Bulldogs have conceded 142 points during that run and they are averaging 17.6 points scored and 31.6 points conceded over their last five.

The cavalry returns with Matt Burton back at five-eighth after illness, Max King back in the front row after a jaw injury and Kurt Mann returning through the interchange after concussion. 

That gives them more control and toughness, but the Dogs still need to prove they can stop momentum once the opposition gets rolling.

Galvin is the interesting betting piece. He is named at halfback, he will have the ball in hand close to the line, and Cronulla's recent record against opposing halfbacks makes him a live chance to pinch one.
