Bublik Returns to the Kitzbuhel Final
Alexander Bublik defeated Tomas Martin Etcheverry in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4, to reach the final in Kitzbuhel. He saved the only break point he faced and won 82% of his first-serve points during the match.
He is now looking to become the first player since Robin Haase in 2012 to successfully defend the Kitzbuhel title.
Bublik started the season by winning the Hong Kong title, reaching the fourth round of the Australian Open, and the semifinals in Rotterdam. However, his level dipped in the middle of the season, managing just five wins between Dubai and Rome.
