Krueger Rallies From a Set Down to Reach Wuhan's Third Round
Ashlyn Krueger defeated Lanlana Tararudee from a set down to reach the third round in Wuhan, winning 2-6, 6-1, 6-1. After losing the opening set despite taking an early lead, the American raised her level and dominated the remaining two sets to complete the comeback.

Swiatek Dominates Frech to Continue Wuhan Campaign
Iga Swiatek defeated compatriot Magdalena Frech in dominant fashion to reach the third round in Wuhan, winning 6-1, 6-2. Although she initially trailed 0-2 in the opening set, the Pole won 12 of the next 13 games to close out the match comfortably.
