Cameron Norrie hasn’t lost a set in Los Cabos, dropping only 14 games. Denis Shapovalov is returning from injury and despite being the defending champion, I think Norrie will be too good.

Cameron Norrie is 17-15 this year which includes a 4-7 record against Top 50 players. His best results came in quarter-final appearances in Indian Wells and Barcelona.
The 30-year-old came to Los Cabos on the back of six straight defeats, four of those on clay and two on grass. He has relished a return to Los Cabos where he won the title in 2021.
The Brit has hardly had to raise a sweat, beating Aleksandar Kovacevic 6-4 6-1, James Duckworth 6-4 6-4 and Bernard Tomic 6-1 6-0. His serving percentages have increased each match, requiring just 50 minutes to defeat Tomic.

Denis Shapovalov’s inconsistency continues in 2026, dropping from 23 to 68 in the rankings. He got to the semi-finals in Dallas, his best clay court result coming in a quarter-final appearance in Munich.
The Canadian went 1-3 on grass, ending in the first round at Wimbledon. He trailed Pablo Carreno Busta 6-3 7-6 before retiring due to injury.
He
spoke before returning to action in Los Cabos, saying: "
Update! A couple of weeks ago in my first-round match in Queens, I fractured my rib. I gave my best, best efforts to try to play through Wimbledon where unfortunately I further sustained a shoulder injury during the match."
Shapovalov had a slow start in Los Cabos where he is the defending champion, coming back to beat Rinky Hijikata 2-6 6-3 6-2.
He has done it easier since then, defeating Rodrigo Pacheco Mendez 6-3 6-2 and Dalibor Svrcina 6-4 6-2, winning less than 48% of his 2nd serve in both victories.
