Jiri Lehecka vs Alexander Zverev Betting Tips & Live Stream – Expect a Close Contest at Wimbledon

Jiri Lehecka has looked sharp and spent minimal time on court in the opening week of Wimbledon, setting him up well for a match against Alexander Zverev. While Zverev has been effective, his performances have lacked full conviction. Both are comfortable on grass, suggesting a closely fought match. The recommendation is to back Lehecka on several value bets: over 17.5 games, winning over 1.5 sets, and covering the +4.5 games handicap, as a tight contest is likely.

Jiri Lehecka can be an extremely dangerous player when he is fresh and confident, and he has spent very little time on court during the opening week of Wimbledon. The Czech has looked sharp throughout the tournament and should be able to play with maximum intensity against Alexander Zverev, whose performances, while effective, have not always been convincing. With both players comfortable on grass, this has all the ingredients of a closely contested battle.

Lehecka Takes On A Top Contender

  • Lehecka holds a 2–2 record in fourth-round Grand Slam matches.

Czech Returns to the Second Week

Jiri Lehecka moved into the fourth round at Wimbledon after defeating Jaume Munar 6-4, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4. The Czech fired 16 aces and saved six of the eight break points he faced during the match.

This is Lehecka's second appearance in the fourth round at Wimbledon. On his previous visit in 2023, he lost in straight sets to then-world No. 3 Daniil Medvedev. Once again, he faces the world No. 3 at this stage.

After failing to defend ranking points during the Australian swing, Lehecka dropped out of the top 20. However, a steady rise over the following months, highlighted by his runner-up finish in Miami, helped him climb to a career-high ranking of No. 12.

Lehecka heads into this clash with a 2-2 career record in Grand Slam fourth-round matches. His most recent appearance at this stage ended with a quarterfinal run at the 2025 US Open.

German Chases Wimbledon Breakthrough

After a tough opening-round battle against Alexander Blockx, Alexander Zverev has looked increasingly comfortable, defeating Valentin Royer 6-1, 6-3, 7-6 and Marcos Giron 6-2, 7-6, 6-4 to reach the fourth round.

Despite spending several years inside the world's top 10, Wimbledon has remained his least successful Grand Slam. He has reached the fourth round here three times before, with all three ending in five-set defeats.

The German has enjoyed another outstanding season, reaching at least the semifinals in eight of his last ten tournaments, including the French Open title, the biggest achievement of his career.

He heads into this clash with a 17-7 career record in Grand Slam fourth-round matches, having won 10 of his last 11. His only defeat during that stretch came at Wimbledon in 2024.
