The 2026 US Open men's tournament is shaping up as a highly anticipated event with betting markets favoring Jannik Sinner (1.80) and Carlos Alcaraz (3.25), despite both dealing with recent injuries. Alexander Zverev, fresh from a French Open win, offers value at 6.00 odds and could capitalize if the favorites struggle. Novak Djokovic remains a wildcard at 15.00 but can't be counted out on the Grand Slam stage, especially with fitness doubts around Sinner and Alcaraz. Ultimately, the market anticipates a wide-open battle in New York.

Jannik Sinner (1.80)

At 1.80, the Italian is the undisputed favourite. His ability to absorb pace and unleash punishing groundstrokes makes him a nightmare to play in New York.
Backing Sinner at these odds is a risky investment however, especially having not played since Wimbledon.

Carlos Alcaraz (3.25)

Getting the Spanish superstar at 3.25 comes with risks attached, the defending champion out of action since April when he picked up a wrist injury.
There are no doubts about Alcaraz's ability on the tennis court, but whether he can sustain a deep run in New York after more than four months out of the game is a big question.

Alexander Zverev (6.00)

Zverev finally broke through to win his first Grand Slam at the French Open, capitalising on Sinner's early exit and Alcaraz's absence.

The German is a former finalist in New York and will fancy his chances of going one better this year.

Novak Djokovic (15.00)

Seeing Djokovic at 15.00 odds is a jarring sight, reflecting his age and the recent struggles he has had in getting past Sinner and Alcaraz. His last Grand Slam title came at the 2023 US Open.
However, counting out Djokovic at a Grand Slam is risky business especially with fitness and injury doubts surrounding the two favourites in New York.
