Aryna Sabalenka (4.00)

Sabalenka has won the previous two US Open titles but has failed to win a Grand Slam this year. She remains a terrifying prospect on hard courts but comes into the tournament with doubts about her form.
The World No.1 lost to Naomi Osaka in the Wimbledon fourth round and failed to reach the quarter-finals in Toronto and Cincinnati, beaten by Ekaterina Alexandrova and Sara Bejlek.

Iga Swiatek (7.00)

Getting the Polish superstar at 7.00 offers enticing value due to a recent period of transition.

In February Swiatek ended her partnership with coach Wim Fissette and took on Carlos Rodríguez on a trial basis, hiring Francisco Roig on a full time basis in early April.
The six-time Grand Slam champion won the 2022 US Open and is playing with plenty of confidence, winning the title in Toronto and going on a deep run in Cincinnati.

Coco Gauff (8.00)

At 8.00, Gauff is a consistent performer who claimed the 2023 US Open title. To combat her serving struggles, she hired biomechanic specialist Gavin MacMillan in 2025, the same coach who rebuilt Sabalenka's serve.

If her service motion holds up under pressure, Gauff's elite athleticism and power makes her a title threat at home.

Elena Rybakina (9.00)

Rybakina won the Australian Open in January and was set to replace Aryna Sabalenka as World No.1 if she reached the final in Cincinnati. An injury against Iga Swiatek ended her hopes in the quarter-finals.

The Kazakh said: "Of course I feel not the greatest, I couldn't even push from the serve. It's painful to walk. We'll know more tomorrow when we have the MRI."

"It's been bothering me for a long period of time, but felt like I had it under control. It was feeling OK before the match but unfortunately one wrong movement, one landing, and something happened."

It remains to be seen how severe the injury is and if Rybakina will be able to recover in time to make a deep run in New York.

Naomi Osaka (11.00)

Backing a four-time Grand Slam champion at 11.00 will tempt many punters, especially following a major coaching revamp.
In July 2025, Osaka hired Tomasz Wiktorowski who guided Swiatek and Agnieszka Radwanska to Grand Slam titles.

She praised her new coach, saying: "He’s done a lot in my game in a very short amount of time that have been really simple fixes, but they've just also been kind of mind-blowing at the same time."

Having not won a WTA Tour title since the 2021 Australian Open however, it would be a big surprise if Osaka can replicate that form.

Mirra Andreeva (13.00)

Rounding out the list is the rising teenage sensation Andreeva at 13.00. After breaking through to win the 2026 French Open, she overcame a big mental hurdle to prove she can win on the biggest stages.

Her form has been mixed since the success at Roland Garros, but there are no doubts about her talent and a deep run in New York wouldn't surprise.

Jessica Pegula (17.00)

At 10.00, Pegula is an option for those seeking a highly reliable hard court veteran with unfinished business in New York.

Having reached the US Open final in 2024, the American won titles in Dubai, Charleston and is currently on a deep run in Cincinnati.

Amanda Anisimova (17.00)

Anisimova is the ultimate wildcard, carrying immense upside following two Grand Slam final defats last year. After reaching a career-high ranking of World No.3, she parted ways with coach Hendrik Vleeshouwers in March.

The American added Sebastian Sachs on a trial basis but has seemingly reunited with Vleeshouwers just four months after ending their relationship.
If Anisimova can start the US Open with some confidence building victories, she is sure to scare some of the more fancied players at the tournament.

Marta Kostyuk (17.00)

If you are looking for a dark horse in the middle of a massive breakout, look no further than Ukraine's Marta Kostyuk at 17.00. She went out in the French Open and Wimbledon semi-finals, experiences that will serve her well in future Grand Slams.
