Jannik Sinner vs Cameron Norrie Predictions & Live Stream - Games Market in Play in Madrid

In the ATP Madrid fourth round, Jannik Sinner faces Cameron Norrie in a highly anticipated match. Sinner, favored to win, has been on a remarkable 19-match winning streak, including several straight-set victories in major tournaments. In contrast, Norrie has shown resilience, often pushing matches beyond 24.5 games. Both players are meeting for the first time, making this clash unpredictable. While Sinner is the likely winner, the recommendation is to focus on a games market bet, predicting more than 18.5 games due to Norrie's tenacity in long matches.

Jannik Sinner is a huge favourite here but this will be his first clash against Cameron Norrie. Norrie rarely goes down easy and can keep this one closer than the odds suggest.

This will be the first match between Jannik Sinner and Cameron Norrie.

Sinner on a Streak

Jannik Sinner had a substandard start to the year, losing to Novak Djokovic in the Australian Open semi-finals and Jakub Mensik in the Qatar Open quarter-finals.

The 24-year-old hasn’t lost since, winning 19 consecutive matches with 17 of those in straight sets. He won the Masters events in Indian Wells and Miami, taking out Daniil Medvedev and Jiri Lehecka in the finals.

The Italian reclaimed the World No.1 spot after winning the Monte Carlo Masters. He defeated Carlos Alcaraz 7-6 6-3 in the final and is now attempting to win five consecutive Masters titles.

Sinner has faced two qualifiers in Madrid, beating Benjamin Bonzi 6-7 6-1 6-4 and lmer Moller 6-2 6-3.

Long Matches the Norm for Norrie

Cameron Norrie has been steadily climbing the rankings this year and is close to returning to the Top 20. His first quarter-final came in Indian Wells where he lost to Carlos Alcaraz.

The 30-year-old began the clay court swing in Monte Carlo where he went out to Alex de Minaur in the second round. He got through two long matches in Barcelona before a convincing defeat to Rafael Jodar.

The long matches have continued in Madrid, the Brit saving 11/12 break points in a 6-2 6-7 7-6 victory over Tomas Machac. He got past Thiago Agustin Tirante 7-5 7-6, winning 70% of his 2nd serves and not allowing a break point.

Verdict

Cameron Norrie has spent nearly five hours on court in Madrid, three of his five sets going to tie breaks. I am avoiding the short odds on Jannik Sinner and backing over 18.5 games in Madrid.
