Jiri Lehecka vs Jan-Lennard Struff Betting Tips & Live Stream - Struff to Upset the Odds at ATP Basel
Jan-Lennard Struff is tipped to upset Jiri Lehecka in the 2026 Swiss Indoors semi-finals. Struff has won 7 of his last 8 matches, including a notable victory over Novak Djokovic in Basel. Lehecka, the favourite, has yet to face a Top 50 opponent in this tournament and has not dropped a set, but Struff’s strong indoor form and recent performances against high-calibre players give him the edge. The match takes place on Sunday 31 October, with Struff’s resilience and momentum highlighted as key factors.
- Struff has won 7 of his last 8 matches
- The German beat Novak Djokovic in the 2nd round
- Lehecka is yet to face a Top 50 player in Basel

Jan-Lennard Struff reached the final in Brussels last week and has continued on in Basel. Jiri Lehecka is a short priced favourite here but I don’t think it will be so easy.

Lehecka Yet to be Tested in Basel
Jiri Lehecka has dropped out of the Top 20 three times this year, losing to Jannik Sinner in the Miami Masters final and Carlos Alcaraz in the Japan Open final.
The Czech went out early in his previous two events, beaten by Rafael Jodar in Shanghai and Tallon Griekspoor in Brussels.
The 24-year-old hasn’t dropped a set in Basel where he is yet to face a Top 50 player. He beat Stan Wawrinka 7-5 7-6, Daniel Altmaier 7-5 6-4 and Jerome Kym 6-4 6-2, saving a combined 6/7 break points.
Struff Finding Form
Jan-Lennard Struff went on a deep run at Wimbledon to break back into the Top 50. He beat Brandon Nakashima, Daniil Medvedev and Hubert Hurkacz before a quarter-final defeat to Jannik Sinner.
The 36-year-old couldn’t maintain that form on hard courts but went close in Brussels last week. He beat Zizou Bergs and Arthur Fils to reach the final where he suffered a narrow 3 sets defeat to Tallon Griekspoor.
The German has maintained that form in Basel, beating Yannick Hanfmann 6-4 6-3 and shocking Novak Djokovic 6-7 7-5 7-6. He hammered Nuno Borges 6-2 6-3 in the quarter-finals, hitting 22 winners and 14 unforced errors.
