Arsenal looks poised to build on their solid win against Girona as they prepare to face Real Betis, who represent a more challenging opponent. Betting odds favor Arsenal at 1.62, making a victory for the Gunners an attractive proposition. The recommendation is to back Arsenal to secure another win given their current form and momentum.

Arsenal vs Real Betis Preview

Arsenal look confident after a long unbeaten run, including plenty of wins. Real Betis have faced lower-quality opponents in pre-season and the Gunners can beat the Green and Whites.

Key Stats - Gunners In-Form

  • Arsenal have won 6 of their last 7 matches.

H2H - First Meeting

This will be the first-ever meeting between Arsenal and Real Betis.

Arsenal Have Momentum

Premier League champions Arsenal are in hard-to-beat form following a nine-match unbeaten streak in all competitions. The Gunners have won seven fixtures in that period.

Mikel Arteta’s side won five matches in a row near the end of the 2025/26 season. Arsenal completed their league campaign with a 2-1 win at Crystal Palace before a 1-1 draw against PSG in the Champions League final.

The Gunners made a winning start to pre-season and comfortably beat Girona 4-1. Kai Havertz, Christos Tzolis, Max Dowman and Gabriel Jesus scored and Arsenal had 1.95 XG.

Real Betis Face a Step Up in Quality

Real Betis have won four of five pre-season friendlies and lost just once. The Green and Whites started pre-season with a 3-0 win over fourth-tier German side Lotte.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side then beat Segunda Federacion team Recreativo de Huelva 1-0 and lost 1-0 at Granada. Real Betis responded with a 4-0 triumph over Lyon.

The LaLiga team followed the Lyon victory with a 1-0 win against Segunda Division outfit Almeria, where Mantero Corralejo scored after 70 minutes.

Predicted Starting Lineups & Team News

Arsenal (4-2-3-1): Kepa Arrizabalaga; Cristhian Mosquera, Marli Salmon, Piero Hincapie, Riccardo Calafiori; Ethan Nwaneri, Miles Lewis-Skelly, Kai Havertz; Max Dowman, Gabriel Jesus, Christos Tzolis

Christian Norgaard is unlikely to feature against Real Betis. The midfielder is nearing a transfer to Everton.

Forward Bukayo Saka and midfielder Declan Rice are among eight players who have extended rest after the World Cup.

Real Betis (4-2-3-1): Manuel Gonzalez; Hector Bellerin, Diego Llorente, Valentin Gomez, Junior Firpo; Marc Roca, Mantero Corralejo; Antony, Isco, Pablo Fornals; Gonzalo Petit

Goalkeeper Diego Conde has a shoulder injury and is ruled out against Arsenal.

Verdict

Arsenal will be eager to push on after a commanding victory over Girona. Real Betis face a tougher test compared to recent opponents and a Gunners’ win has value.
