Crystal Palace are tipped to secure a home victory over Sunderland in the Premier League clash on 13 September 2025. Palace remain unbeaten at home since February and recently defeated Aston Villa 3-0, displaying strong attacking form. Sunderland, meanwhile, have struggled away from home and are adjusting to Premier League challenges after promotion. Key players for both sides will miss out due to injuries. Expert analysis supports a Palace win, given their superior home record and current unbeaten streak.

Crystal Palace Form

Oliver Glasner’s Crystal Palace haven’t lost a competitive match since April and are undefeated in 14 successive games.

The Eagles started the new season by winning the Community Shield on penalties after drawing 2-2 with Liverpool. Palace then drew their opening Premier League matches, 0-0 at Chelsea and 1-1 against Nottingham Forest at home.

Glasner’s side thumped Aston Villa 3-0 away before the international break. Palace had 2.65 XG and Jean Philippe Mateta, Marc Guehi and Ismaila Sarr scored to seal the victory.

Sunderland Form

Newly promoted Sunderland have had a patchy start to the 2025/26 campaign with just two wins from four games.

The Black Cats comfortably beat West Ham 3-0 on the opening day. Sunderland then lost 2-0 at Burnley before losing on penalties to Huddersfield in the EFL Cup following a 1-1 draw.

Regis Le Bris’ outfit came back from a goal down to defeat Brentford 2-1 at home last time out. Sunderland allowed 1.19 XG, conceded in the 77th minute and Enzo Le Fee and Wilson Isidor scored late on.

Crystal Palace (3-4-2-1): Dean Henderson; Chris Richards, Maxence Lacroix, Marc Guehi; Daniel Munoz, Jefferson Lerma, Will Hughes, Tyrick Mitchell, Justin Devenny, Daichi Kamada; Jean Philippe Mateta
