Rising Talent Makes Berlin Debut
Alexandra Eala started her grass-court season with a title at the Birmingham WTA 125 event a few weeks ago. However, she was unable to build on that result in London, where her campaign ended in the second round following a straight-sets defeat to Iva Jovic.
The 21-year-old has continued to push for bigger results this season. Apart from a difficult clay swing, she has produced several strong performances, including semifinal runs in Auckland, Abu Dhabi and Dubai, along with fourth-round appearances at both Indian Wells and Miami.
