Osorio Looks to Build on Recent Resurgence

Camila Osorio is coming off a second round loss in Merida to Katie Boulter, where she retired after trailing by a set due to an abdominal injury. 

She had a slow Australian swing, losing all three matches. However, she bounced back strongly by winning the WTA 125 title in Manila and reaching the third round in Doha. 

Osorio has played Indian Wells four times before. Three of those runs ended in qualifying or the first round, with her only win coming last year against Naomi Osaka to reach the second round.
