Paris FC appointed Antoine Kombouare as their new head manager in late February and didn’t lose a single game under his leadership, recording two wins and three draws. 

They wrapped up March with a super-important 3-2 victory against Le Havre which most likely got them out from the relegation battle, but things could have ended differently since opposition had 20 shots. 

Last weekend, Paris FC locked horns against Lorient on the road which ended all square 1-1, ending the match with 0.95-1.21 expected goals and 7-10 shots.

Monaco are the hottest team in Ligue 1 right now, seven consecutive victories pushing them up to 5th place, just one point short of a UEFA Champions League spot. 

After beating PSG 3-1 in early March, they took another big scalp to wrap up the previous month, beating Lyon 2-1 with Maghnes Akliouche and Folarin Balogun finding the net in second half. That was a well-deserved victory, posting 3.29-1.51 xG and firing 21-15 shots. 

Last weekend, Sebastien Pocognoli’s side defeated Olympique Marseille 2-1, Balogun once again appearing on the scoresheet, Aleksandar Golovin also on target.

Furthermore, Ciro Immobile is a major doubt as he struggles with illness, though Rudy Matondo is available again after serving a suspension.

Monaco’s confidence is sky high right now after earning seven straight victories in Ligue 1. After beating PSG, Marseille and Lyon, I don’t expect them to have problems against Paris FC on Friday. In-form Folarin Balogun is also tipped to score.
