Romania make the trip to Solna after missing out on World Cup qualification earlier this year.

Since that painful setback, Romania have picked up some positive results under the guidance of legendary former player and manager Gheorghe Hagi, who was reappointed to the position of head coach this summer.
The Tricolours turned to Hagi 25 years after his ill-fated 2-month spell as manager in 2001.
Romania picked up a 1-1 draw in Georgia in Hagi’s first fixture in the job in June, before a 2-1 win against Wales in Bucharest four days later.
Florinel Coman opened the scoring before David Brooks equalised for the visitors. Adrian Rus restored Romania’s lead to settle a competitive contest at Stadionul Steaua.
While expected to adopt an attack-minded approach, Hagi will need to address a defence that rarely keeps clean sheets. Romania have conceded at least 1 goal in 13 of their last 15 fixtures.
