Bodo/Glimt vs Tottenham Predictions & Betting Tips - Tottenham to Win in Norway

Tottenham face Bodo/Glimt in the Champions League after winning both their meetings last season, showcasing their class advantage. Despite some recent inconsistent performances, Spurs will look to capitalize on their quality. Bodo/Glimt have proven resilient at home and come in riding positive domestic and European results, but have doubts over some key players. Both teams will be missing important squad members due to injury. Spurs are favored, but the match could be far from straightforward, so expect a competitive contest.

Bodo/Glimt Form

Bodo/Glimt started their Champions League campaign with a 2-2 draw at Slavia Prague. They had 2.52-3.98 expected goals in the Czech Republic where Sondre Fet equalised in the 90th minute.

Kjetil Knutsen’s side returned to the Eliteserien with a 1-1 draw at Rosenborg. They now sit second on the table, one point behind Viking.

The Norwegian club won 3-1 at Odd in the domestic Cup on Thursday with Magnus Riisnaes, Andreas Helmersen and Jens Hauge scoring to send them into the fourth round.

Tottenham Form

Tottenham began the Champions League with a hard fought 1-0 victory over Villarreal thanks to an early own goal.

Thomas Frank’s side had a scare at Brighton where they came back from 2-0 down to earn a 2-2 draw. João Palhinha scored first in a comfortable 3-0 win against Doncaster in the League Cup.

Spurs were below their best on Saturday, Palhinha equalising in added time to secure a 1-1 draw against Wolves.

Probable Lineups & Team News

Bodo/Glimt (4-3-3) Nikita Haikin; Fredrik Sjovold, Odin Bjortuft, Jostein Gundersen, Fredrik Bjorkan; Sondre Fet, Patrick Berg, Sondre Auklend; Mathias Jorgensen, Kasper Hogh, Jens Petter Hauge

Brede Moe, Ole Didrik Blomberg, Daniel Bassi and Ola Brynhildsen are all doubtful alongside Ulrik Saltnes.

Tottenham (4-3-3) Guglielmo Vicario; Pedro Porro, Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Destiny Udogie; João Palhinha, Lucas Bergvall, Rodrigo Bentancur; Mohammed Kudus, Richarlison, Xavi Simons

Radu Dragusin, Kota Takai and Yves Bissouma are injured with Dejan Kulusevski and James Maddison also out. Mathys Tel is not registered for the Champions League squad.

Pape Matar Sarr could return from a knock with Ben Davies, Dominic Solanke and Randal Kolo Muani doubtful.

Verdict

Tottenham have not been convincing in recent weeks and Bodo/Glimt are a dangerous side, especially at home. I think Spurs’ superior quality can made the difference but it is unlikely to be easy.
