Weekend Football Predictions - Premier League, La Liga & Allsvenskan Betting Tips for 12th-13th September 2026

The Champions League is done for the week, but there isn't much time to recover before another huge weekend of European football.

For the latest Free Tips Football preview, we're looking at five games across England, Spain and Sweden, headlined by the Manchester Derby and Liverpool's clash with Fulham.

We've also got Arsenal and Real Madrid expected to take care of business, an interesting goals angle in the Allsvenskan and another collection of bigger-priced selections in Longshot Corner.

Here are our weekend picks.

Manchester United v Manchester City - Derby Split

Both Manchester clubs arrive after winning in Europe, but Ryan and Jeremy are firmly on opposite sides of the derby.

United have won nine of their last ten at Old Trafford and their attack gives them a genuine chance of causing City problems. Their defence is the concern, having conceded twice in each of their opening three Premier League games.

City have been considerably stronger defensively, conceding just twice across their last four games. There's also an interesting Old Trafford trend with City having failed to score on their last two visits.

Ryan is backing Manchester United to win, while Jeremy expects City's defence to make the difference in a 1-0 City victory.

Ryan's Pick: Manchester United to Win
Jeremy's Pick: Manchester City to Win 1-0

Sunderland v Arsenal - Another Clean Sheet?

Arsenal's defence continues to deliver. They followed their strong start to the Premier League season with a 1-0 Champions League victory away to Napoli and have once again established themselves as one of Europe's toughest teams to break down.

The bigger question is at the other end. Arsenal created plenty against Napoli but converted just once.

Sunderland, however, have scored exactly once in each of their last five games and don't appear to possess the attacking threat required to expose Arsenal.

A familiar Arsenal scoreline could be coming.

Pick: Arsenal to Win
Correct Score Lean: Arsenal 2-0

Real Madrid v Rayo Vallecano - Back Madrid at Home

Real Madrid return to domestic action after beating Inter in the Champions League and have history firmly on their side this weekend.

Madrid have won 14 of their last 15 home games against Rayo Vallecano, while the visitors have lost their last two away matches and will be missing an important attacking option through suspension.

Real's finishing hasn't always matched their chance creation this season, but their Champions League victory offered signs that things are beginning to click.

Pick: Real Madrid to Win
Correct Score Lean: Real Madrid 3-0

AIK v Västerås - Goals in Stockholm

We're heading to Sweden for one of the more interesting betting games of the weekend.

AIK are pushing towards the European places and have improved considerably after a difficult period, taking points from some of the Allsvenskan's stronger sides.

The goals numbers are particularly interesting with over 2.5 goals landing in four of AIK's last five games and eight of Västerås' last ten away matches.

Västerås have also been finding the net themselves, making both teams to score another option.

Pick: AIK to Win & Over 2.5 Goals

Liverpool v Fulham - Back Liverpool and Goals

Liverpool return to Anfield after a 2-1 Champions League victory over Atletico Madrid.

They've been scoring consistently this season and have shown an ability to strike early, while their response after falling behind against Atletico was another positive sign.

Fulham have goals in them, but their defensive record is much less encouraging. They've lost five of their last seven and conceded more than twice in each of their three Premier League defeats this season.

Liverpool should have too much at Anfield, but goals look likely as well.

Pick: Liverpool to Win & Over 2.5 Goals

Longshot Corner - A 15.00 Five-Leg Multi

Longshot Corner returns, and we're starting with a five-leg winner multi covering every game featured in the show.

Ryan is backing Manchester United, Arsenal, Real Madrid, AIK and Liverpool all to win, with the five selections combined at better than 15.00 when discussed on the show.

Jeremy has something considerably more painful for the Liverpool supporter sitting next to him – a 2-2 draw between Liverpool and Fulham at 41.00.

There's also a three-leg same-weekend combination at more than 26.00:

  • AIK to Win & Over 2.5 Goals
  • Liverpool to Score Before the 32nd Minute
  • Manchester United to Win & Both Teams to Score

Three very different ways to attack the weekend if you're looking beyond the shorter-priced selections.

Our Weekend Football Picks

  • Manchester United v Manchester City: Manchester United to Win - Ryan / Manchester City 1-0 - Jeremy
  • Sunderland v Arsenal: Arsenal to Win
  • Real Madrid v Rayo Vallecano: Real Madrid to Win
  • AIK v Västerås: AIK to Win & Over 2.5 Goals
  • Liverpool v Fulham: Liverpool to Win & Over 2.5 Goals
  • Five-Leg Longshot: Man Utd / Arsenal / Real Madrid / AIK / Liverpool @ 15.00+
  • Correct Score Longshot: Liverpool 2-2 Fulham @ 41.00
  • Three-Leg Longshot: AIK Win & Over 2.5 / Liverpool Early Goal / Man Utd Win & BTTS @ 26.00+
