Magda Linette vs Iga Swiatek Betting Tips & Live Stream – Swiatek’s Form Surge Continues at WTA Roland Garros
Iga Swiatek enters the French Open third round as the clear favorite against fellow Pole Magda Linette. Swiatek boasts a flawless 7-0 record in French Open third rounds and a 21-1 record against players outside the Top 50 in the past year. Although Linette upset Swiatek in Miami, current form and confidence tip the scales toward the four-time Roland Garros champion. Linette, coming off a gritty comeback win, seeks her best-ever result in Paris but faces a steep challenge. Expect Swiatek to advance, likely in straight sets.

Linette Scores Comeback Win Over Ostapenko
Magda Linette moved into the third round after a comeback victory over Jelena Ostapenko, 2-6, 6-2, 6-2. She saved five of the seven break points she faced and converted four of her 11 break-point opportunities.
The result marked another strong performance from Linette, who also had to battle through a difficult opening-round match against Tereza Valentova after trailing by a set and a break. Her resilience has been a key factor in this year's campaign.
This is only the third time Linette has won multiple matches at the French Open and her first such run since 2021. She is now seeking her best result in Paris after previous third-round defeats to Elina Svitolina in 2017 and Ons Jabeur in 2021.
The 34-year-old has recorded multiple wins in five of her 10 tournaments this season, including third-round runs at the Australian Open, Dubai and Miami. However, she has yet to win a third main-draw match at any event this year.
Linette enters the third round with a 1-8 record at this stage of Grand Slams. Her lone victory came at the Australian Open in 2023, where she went on to reach the semifinals.

Four-Time Champion Building Momentum
Iga Swiatek has reached the third round at the French Open with dominant wins over Emerson Jones and Sara Bejlek. She has not lost more than five games in either match, marking her strongest start to a tournament in several months.
The 24-year-old has enjoyed remarkable success in Paris throughout her career. In seven previous appearances, she has reached at least the fourth round every time and converted four of those runs into titles between 2020 and 2024.
Despite her dominance at Roland Garros, Swiatek has endured a difficult season by her standards. She has struggled to produce deep runs consistently, and her level has often dropped when matches have become long physical battles.
Until the Rome Masters, the Pole was on a four-match losing streak in quarterfinals and had yet to record a win over a Top 10 opponent this season, highlighting some of the challenges she has faced in 2026.
Swiatek enters the third round with an outstanding 21-4 record at this stage of Grand Slam events. Two of those defeats came at Wimbledon, underlining just how reliable she has been in early rounds at the majors.

Verdict
Magda Linette won this matchup a few months ago in Miami, handing Iga Swiatek her first opening-round loss in nearly five years. However, Swiatek has looked much sharper since then and appears to have regained both confidence and form. That makes the Pole the favorite to progress further, with a straight-sets victory a strong possibility.
