Hurkacz returned after six months out and looked like he had never been away. He was untouchable on serve, fired 21 aces, and brushed Zverev aside 6-3, 6-4 while facing just one break point.

Griekspoor’s United Cup Struggles Continue

Griekspoor has looked off, both mentally and physically, since the back half of 2025, and that did not change in his United Cup opener. 

He struggled to find any rhythm against Zverev and faded badly as the match wore on. The scoreline told the story. A 5-7, 0-6 loss, including a bagel in the second set, underlined how far he still seems from his best level. 

He is also still searching for his first breakthrough at this event. Three United Cup matches played, three straight losses, and still no sets won.
