Tomas Machac retired with a knee injury in Montpellier but kept it close in his last match against Jannik Sinner. The World No.2 is very short in Doha so I am turning to the games markets.

Sinner ended 2024 with 15 consecutive wins and kept it going at the Australian Open.
The World No.2 dropped one set on his way to the semi-finals, including a 6-3 6-4 6-4 victory over 8th seed Ben Shelton.
The 24-year-old was leading Novak Djokovic but couldn’t go all the way, going down 3-6 6-3 4-6 6-4 6-4 in over four hours.
The Italian spoke after converting only two of 18 break points against the 38-year-old: “I had my chances. It was in the fifth set. Many break points, I couldn't use them. He came up with some great shots.”
“I decided a couple of different things. Today they didn't work, but that's how tennis is. I felt like also the first set was a great level from both of us. It was a bit a roller coaster, and it happened like it happened today.”
