Angola vs Egypt Betting Tips & Live Stream - Egypt to secure third AFCON group stage win

Egypt is in impressive form, eyeing to maintain their top spot in Group B at the AFCON tournament. Historical data shows Angola struggling against Egypt with no victories in past encounters. The Pharaohs have showcased remarkable performances, including a defensive win over South Africa. Angola has faltered in recent matches, claiming just two wins in their last ten fixtures. Team lineups suggest Egypt might rotate players, but Mohamed Salah remains a key player. Predictions favor Egypt to win with both teams possibly scoring, and Salah expected to make an impact.

Egypt have looked very composed in their opening two matches. I don't see Angola posing too much of a threat.

Key Stats - Angola Struggling for Results

  • Angola have seen BTTS Yes in 5 of their last 7 matches.

Angola Winless against Egypt

Since the early 90s, Egypt have won four of their seven matches against Angola. There have been three draws and no Angolan wins

One Victory in 10 Matches for Angola

Angola topped their AFCON qualifying group but won just two of 10 World Cup qualifiers (six draws). They have one point from two matches in this competition so far.

They played three friendlies coming into the tournament. A 2-0 home loss to Argentina was followed by a 3-2 win over Zambia and a 4-1 win vs Mozambique.

Their AFCON opener saw a 2-1 loss to South Africa. Their second fixture saw a 1-0 lead surrendered in a 1-1 draw vs Zimbabwe as they allowed 17 shots.

Egypt Looking to Secure Top Spot

Egypt are in great form and have already sealed top spot in Group B at this AFCON.

The Pharaohs played three friendlies before this tournament. They lost 2-0 to Uzbekistan, drew 1-1 vs Cabo Verde and beat Nigeria 2-1.

Egypt beat Zimbabwe 2-1 in their AFCON opener with 35 shots and eight big chances created. With ten men, they beat South Africa 1-0 in their second match after a heroic defensive display.

Egypt vs Angola Predicted Lineups, Team News & Squads

Angola (4-3-3): Hugo Marques; Mata, Carmo, Gaspar, Carneiro ; Maestro, Show, Fredy; Luvumbo, Mabululu, Milson.

Centre back Gaspar of Lecce in Serie A could return to the XI. Mabululu is expected to lead the line as Mbala Nzola has not impressed.

Maestro is also set for a recall in midfield. He did well against South Africa, but lost his place against Zimbabwe.
