Burundi vs Chad Betting Tips - Chad struggles to continue against Burundi in AFCON qualification

Burundi is expected to continue their dominance against Chad in the upcoming second leg of their AFCON qualifiers. Despite both teams being in poor form recently, Burundi's impressive 4-0 victory in the first leg gives them a significant advantage. While Burundi has struggled with losses in the past, their recent triumph over Chad shows promise for another potential win, possibly with a 2-0 scoreline in the upcoming match. Chad, on the other hand, remains winless in their last 21 matches and faces an uphill battle to overcome the deficit.

Neither of these sides are in very good form but last week, in the first leg, Burundi hammered Chad 4-0. I do not see Chad turning this around with another win to nil tipped.

Key Stats - Burundi Dominant in First Leg

  • Burundi have lost 4 of their last 5 fixtures.
  • Burundi have scored 4 goals in 5 games.
  • Burundi have conceded 6 goals in 5 matches.
  • Chad have lost 4 of their last 5 fixtures.
  • Chad have scored 5 goals in 5 games.
  • Chad have conceded 13 goals in 5 matches.

Head to Head

Last week, Burundi thrashed Chad 4-0 in the first leg away from home.

Burundi Poor but Dominant against Chad

Burundi snapped a four-match losing streak when they thumped Chad in their Africa Cup of Nations preliminary round qualifier last weekend, winning 4-0.

Before that, Burundi lost 1-0 to the Ivory Coast, 2-0 to Gambia, 1-0 to Togo, and 2-0 to Gabon in FIFA World Cup qualifying matches played in September and October last year.

The Swallows have lost four of their last five fixtures, with one draw. They scored four goals and conceded six.

Burundi will be pleased with their efforts in the opening leg, and they will fancy their chances of recording another solid victory against Chad in the reverse match to progress to the next round of the AFCON qualifiers.

Chad Horrid Form has no End

Chad were outplayed by Burundi in their AFCON first-leg preliminary round qualifier last weekend, losing 4-0.

Before that disappointing loss, Chad lost 2-1 to Uganda and drew 2-2 with Mozambique in two international friendlies last November.

Les Sao have lost four of their last five fixtures, with one draw. They scored five goals and conceded 13.

Chad are winless in their last 21 matches and look unlikely to overturn such a large deficit in the second leg against Burundi.
