Everton Form

David Moyes’ Everton are mid-table in the Premier League and responded well after an opening-day 1-0 defeat at Leeds.

Everton were on a four-match unbeaten run, beating Brighton and Mansfield 2-0 and Wolves 3-2 before drawing 0-0 with Aston Villa.

The Merseyside club couldn’t maintain their unbeaten streak and lost 2-1 against rivals Liverpool after the international break.

The Toffees lost back-to-back games for the first time this season following a 2-0 EFL Cup defeat at Wolves. Moyes’ outfit conceded once in each half and couldn’t reply with 18 shots.

West Ham Form

Graham Potter is under pressure at West Ham after five defeats in six games in all competitions.

The Hammers lost their opening three games, conceding 11 and scoring three. They hit back with a 3-0 win at Nottingham Forest before a 3-0 home loss to Tottenham.

West Ham fell to another defeat on Saturday, losing 2-1 at home against Crystal Palace. Potter’s side conceded in the first half and Jarrod Bowen equalised before Palace netted a 68th-minute winner.
