The Wolves vs Brighton Premier League clash promises plenty of goals, as both teams have struggled defensively and frequently appear in high-scoring games. Wolves have yet to win in the league, while Brighton's mixed form has included both goal fests and defensive lapses. With neither side keeping many clean sheets recently, expect both teams to score and over 2.5 goals. Key betting tips include BTTS Yes (1.75), Over 2.5 Goals (1.92), and Over 3.5 Goals (3.35).

Wolves Form

Wolves are bottom of the 2025/26 Premier League as the only winless side in the division. The Old Gold have one of the league’s worst defences, shipping 13 goals in six games.

Wanderers lost their first five league matches, conceding 12 and scoring three goals. Wolves’ only wins this season came in the EFL Cup against West Ham 3-2 and Everton 2-0, both at home.

Vítor Pereira’s side earned their first point of the season after a 1-1 draw at Tottenham. Santiago Bueno scored in the second half before Wolves conceded in the 94th minute.

Brighton Form

Brighton are mid-table in the Premier League after a patchy start to the 2025/26 campaign. The South Coast team have won, drawn and lost twice in six games.

The Seagulls returned from the international break with a 2-1 loss at Bournemouth and a 2-2 draw with Tottenham. A 6-0 EFL Cup win at Barnsley followed.

Fabian Hurzeler’s outfit made it two wins in a row after defeating Chelsea 3-1 on Saturday. Brighton trailed 1-0 before Danny Welbeck’s brace and Maxim De Cuyper’s header completed the comeback.

Predicted Starting Lineups & Team News

Wolves (4-3-3): Sam Johnstone; Matt Doherty, Santiago Bueno, Ladislav Krejci, Hugo Bueno; Marshall Munetsi, Andre, Joao Gomes; Jhon Arias, Jorgen Strand Larsen, Hee-Chan Hwang

Attacker Leon Chiwome won’t feature due to an ACL injury.

Brighton (4-2-3-1): Bart Verbruggen; Mats Wieffer, Jan Paul van Hecke, Lewis Dunk, Maxim De Cuyper; Yasin Ayari, Diego Gomez, Yankuba Minteh, Georginio Rutter, Karou Mitoma; Danny Welbeck

Defensive duo Adam Webster and Joel Veltman are ruled out with injuries. Midfielder Solly March has a knee injury and defensive midfielder Jack Hinshelwood is unavailable with an ankle issue.

Verdict

Wolves haven’t kept a clean sheet in the Premier League this season and Brighton often see BTTS. More goals are anticipated between these leaky sides on Sunday.
