Guinea-Bissau vs Djibouti Live Stream & Tips - Hosts backed to ease to victory

Guinea-Bissau face Djibouti in a World Cup qualifier where both teams have struggled, with Guinea-Bissau earning just seven points and Djibouti sitting last with one. Djibouti's defense has been particularly weak, conceding 19 goals in their last five matches, including a heavy 6-0 defeat to Burkina Faso. Guinea-Bissau, despite recent poor form, are expected to exploit Djibouti’s leaky defense and are tipped for a win-to-nil, with predictions favoring a 4-0 result for the hosts.

Guinea-Bissau vs Djibouti Preview

Guinea Bissau have not been in the best of form but did take a point in their last qualifier. Djibouti on the other hand have been woeful, so a win to nil for the hosts is my best bet.

Head to Head

These two have only met once before and Guinea-Bissau won that fixture earlier this year.

Guinea-Bissau Form

Guinea-Bissau secured a point for their efforts in their FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Sierra Leone last week, drawing 1-1.

Guinea-Bissau had chances to score in the first half, but Sierra Leone took the lead in the first minute of first-half stoppage time to lead 1-0 at the break.

Guinea-Bissau went in search of a goal in the second half and scored an equaliser in the 74th minute of the match.

Guinea-Bissau are 4th in Group A with seven points after seven games. They registered one win, four draws, and two defeats.

The Djurtus have lost four of their five fixtures, including one draw. They scored three goals and conceded nine.

Guinea-Bissau have not been at their best lately, but will fancy their chances against a Djibouti side that has conceded 16 goals in their last three matches.

Guinea-Bissau Squad

Djibouti Form

Djibouti suffered a comprehensive defeat in their FIFA World Cup qualifying match last weekend, losing 6-0 to Burkina Faso.

Djibouti had a player sent off after ten minutes of play, giving Burkina Faso a numerical advantage, which they used to score in the 16th, 25th, 36th, and 43rd minutes of the match to lead 4-0 at the interval.

Djibouti conceded for a fifth time 14 minutes into the second half and for the last time at the 86-minute mark.

Djibouti are in last place in Group A standings with one point. They have lost six and drawn once after seven rounds of qualifying.

Les Riverains de la Mer Rouge have lost four of their last five fixtures, including one draw. They scored four goals and conceded 19.

Djibouti have been in wretched form lately, as their defence has been leaking too many goals at the back for them to be competitive.

Djibouti Squad

Djibouti squad for their World Cup qualifiers: Liban Mohamed, Idriss Houmed, Ahmed Zakaria, Yabeh Siad, Ali Youssouf, Ibrahim Idriss, Omar Mohamed, Doualeh Mahamoud, Sadik Aden, Moussa Amoud, Mouad Amir, Aboubaker Fathi, Omar Mohamed, Aboubaker Liban, Warsama Ibrahim, Mohamed Ali, Abdichakour Ibrahim, Ahmedin Ali, Igal Aden, Mahad Abdi, Abdillahi Youssouf, Ahmed Youssouf

Verdict

Guinea-Bissau can exploit the poor defence of Djibouti to bounce back to form and are tipped to produce a win-to-nil victory with a 4-0 score.
