Real Madrid have won all five home matches but conceded in three of those victories. Sevilla can score at Estadio Bernabéu, but they are unlikely to shut down Los Blancos over 90 minutes.

HTH

Real Madrid have won five straight games against Sevilla to build a 110-57 advantage alongside 32 draws.

All Action at Real Madrid

Real Madrid had a strong start under José Mourinho but have had some issues on the road. They lost 1-0 at Real Betis and 2-1 at Atletico Madrid to fall off the pace in La Liga.

Los Blancos have won five straight at home, scoring 15 goals with three conceded. The last clash at Estadio Bernabéu ended in a 1-0 win against Villarreal, Yan Diomande scoring his for goal for the club before Vinícius Júnior was sent off.

José Mourinho’s side are coming off an action packed 4-3 win at Roma in the Champions League. Down 3-1 in the 83rd minute, goals to Carlos Espí, Endrick and Antonio Rüdiger scored to complete the come back.

Mourinho praised the Italian club but expected them to tire in the second half: “Football is a 90 minute game and, at the highest level, it is strategic.

“The opponents matter and play too, and today’s opponent was incredibly strong and a formidable team. I knew their energy would run out. It’s impossible to play 90 minutes at the pace they play.”

Sevilla Flying High

Sevilla won four of their opening six matches in La Liga, the highlight coming in Bilbao where they registered a 3-1 victory over Athletic.

The only defeats have been at home against Top 3 clubs. A 3-1 loss to Atletico Madrid was harsh after ending with 20-12 shots but there were no excuses after a 3-1 defeat against Barcelona.

The Andalusian club are coming off a 3-3 draw at Levante. Goals to Robbie Ure and Félix Correia established a 2-0 lead and Isaac Romero made it 3-2 in the 94th minute, but they conceded after Romero was sent off.

Predicted Lineups & Team News

Real Madrid (4-2-3-1) Thibaut Courtois; Trent Alexander-Arnold, Antonio Rüdiger, Dean Huijsen, Álvaro Carreras; Federico Valverde, Aurélien Tchouaméni; Arda Güler, Jude Bellingham, Yan Diomande, Kylian Mbappé

Centre-backs Raúl Asencio and Éder Militão remain out alongside Ferland Mendy. Rodrygo is expected to return in January.

Mourinho will surely make changes here with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dean Huijsen and Álvaro Carreras options to come into defence.

Vinícius Junior has been handed a four-game suspension and will be available to face Celta Vigo on 22 November. Expect Arda Güler to take his place out wide.

Sevilla (4-2-3-1) Odysseas Vlachodimos; Juan Iglesias, Andrés Castrín, Kike Salas, Gabriel Suazo; Giorgi Kochorashvili, Lucien Agoumé; Chidera Ejuke, Youssouf Fofana, Félix Correia; Robbie Ure

Young winger Miguel Sierra is out until January and Isaac Romero is suspended after his red card at Levante. Youssouf Fofana should continue in an attacking midfield role.

Verdict

Sevilla have scored in all eight matches and currently sit fifth in La Liga. I think they can maintain their scoring streak, but Real Madrid’s superior quality up front will make the difference.
