Besiktas vs Olympiakos Live Stream & Tips – Visitors to Cover in the EuroLeague
Olympiakos are tipped to cover the -5.5 Asian Handicap in their EuroLeague fixture against Besiktas. The Greek champions have demonstrated a strong ability to respond to defeats, as seen after their loss to Virtus Bologna. Besiktas, meanwhile, have struggled with inconsistency and defensive issues in their first EuroLeague season since 2013, currently sitting 14th after mixed results. Olympiakos’ resilience and Besiktas’ defensive vulnerabilities make the -5.5 handicap a recommended selection for this match.

Match Preview
Besiktas are having plenty of problems balancing their Super Lig and EuroLeague commitments, producing inconsistent performances on both fronts. Do they stand a chance against reigning champions Olympiakos on Wednesday?
Besiktas Adjusting to Tough EuroLeague Schedule
Besiktas have produced mixed results in their first EuroLeague season since 2013, securing three victories in seven rounds and currently sitting in 14th place.
The double-round week in mid-October began with a convincing 100-82 defeat to Hapoel Tel Aviv at a neutral venue in Bulgaria, but the Black Eagles bounced back by securing their first home victory against Bayern Munich, winning 95-87.
Last week, Dusan Alimpijevic's side faced fellow Turkish rivals Anadolu Efes and lost 89-80. Their first-half performance was disastrous, as they trailed by 21 points at the break and were unable to recover. Eugene Omoruyi was their standout performer with 16 points.
Olympiakos Trying to Bounce Back
Olympiakos are once again among the main contenders for the title this season, entering this round in fourth place with five victories and two defeats.
They enjoyed a strong run in early October, claiming three consecutive victories against Anadolu Efes 89-66, Valencia 102-97 in overtime after mounting a huge comeback from a 28-point deficit in the second half, and Barcelona 105-100, also in overtime.
The Red & Whites were in control for most of last week's derby clash against Fenerbahce, but their shooting numbers were disastrous in the second half. They scored just 27 points in 20 minutes and ultimately lost 64-61.

Verdict
Olympiakos responded immediately and strongly to their first defeat against Virtus Bologna, so I expect a similar reaction here. The Greek side are backed to exploit Besiktas' defensive weaknesses and win by covering the -5.5 handicap.
