Betting on Cricket

There are hundreds of different ways to bet on a cricket match including a host of live or in play betting options. Here are some of the most common types of cricket betting markets:

Head to Head: Simply pick the team you think will win the game.

Top Runscorer: Pick the player you think will score the most runs for their team.

Most Runs: Pick two players in a head to head match, with the winner scoring the most runs. Can either be two players on the same team or opposing teams.

Next Man Out: Predominantly available during live betting, make a call on which batsman will be out next.

Highest First 10 Overs: Which team will score the most runs in the first 10 overs?

Innings/Match Runs: How many runs in total from both teams do you think will be scored in the innings or match?

Highest Opening Partnership: Pick which opening partnership will score the most runs.

Method of 1st Dismissal: How will the 1st dismissal occur? Bowled, caught, LBW, stumped?

Total Match 6’s: This is one of the highlights of the game of cricket, certainly in limited overs games such as Twenty20. How many times will the ball be smashed out of the park?

Team to Hit Most 6’s: Which team will hit the most 6’s? Does the home team have a big advantage playing in their own backyard, or are the opposition bowlers simply too good?
