Fenerbahce vs Baskonia Live Stream & Tips – Handicap in Play in the EuroLeague
Fenerbahce are predicted to win their fixture against bottom-placed Baskonia, but their recent form raises concerns about covering a –14.5 handicap. Despite being favourites, Fenerbahce have not been convincing enough to suggest a comfortable margin. Baskonia, on the other hand, have faced strong opponents recently and are showing signs of improvement under coach Perasovic, which could help them keep the score closer than expected.

Match Preview
Baskonia haven't found stability under new head coach Velimir Perasovic, and their playoff hopes have already been reduced to a minimum. Is there any room for an upset in Istanbul on Thursday?
Fenerbahce Struggled Last Week
Fenerbahce's recent EuroLeague performances have been underwhelming. The Turkish side currently sit in 7th place with six victories and three defeats after nine rounds.
Sarunas Jasikevicius’ side had a 6-1 record after claiming three consecutive wins in mid-October against Zalgiris Kaunas 99-80, Partizan 74-65 and Olympiakos 64-61, but their form declined last week.
The Yellow Canaries started last week's double-round action with an 86-78 defeat to Valencia in Spain, followed by another loss on the road against Real Madrid, 95-76. It was their worst performance of the season, as Fenerbahce converted just seven of 33 three-point attempts.
Baskonia Still Searching for a Turnaround
After just five rounds of the new EuroLeague season, Baskonia decided to sack head coach Paolo Galbiati, but results have not improved significantly under his successor, Velimir Perasovic. The Basque side currently hold a 1-8 record.
Many expected Baskonia to suffer a convincing defeat against table-toppers Panathinaikos in Athens in late October, but they put up a strong fight before ultimately losing 85-79. Matteo Spagnolo was the standout performer with 16 points and four assists.
That was not the case in their next two games, though, as Baskonia were first smashed at home by Real Madrid 104-86, with no chance of pulling off an upset, before delivering another disappointing performance in France, losing to ASVEL 94-79.

Verdict
Fenerbahce shouldn't slip up against the bottom-placed side, but their recent form is not encouraging when it comes to covering a –14.5 handicap. Baskonia have faced some tough opponents recently and continue to improve under Perasovic.
