Mathias Lessort delivered an outstanding performance with 20 points on 9/10 shooting from the field, while Kendrick Nunn, returning from injury, scored 11 points in the 19 minutes he spent on the floor.
Milano Desperate to End Their Losing Run
Milano are off to a disastrous start in the new EuroLeague campaign, claiming just one victory in seven appearances. The latest reports suggest that head coach Guiseppe Poeta is very close to losing his job.
Their only win came in late September, when they edged Virtus Bologna 87-85 at home in the Italian derby. They then suffered consecutive defeats to Baskonia 86-76, Maccabi Tel Aviv 97-79, Real Madrid 98-89 and Dubai 101-97.
They failed to end this miserable run last week, losing 89-81 to Barcelona at home. Turnovers were a major issue, with Milano committing 19, while they also allowed 17 offensive rebounds. Jason Burnell was their top performer with 15 points.
