Last minute equaliser turns punter’s $1 bet into over £23k

One football fan turned £1 into £23,254.84 thanks to an Easter miracle on Sunday afternoon, it has been revealed.
The plucky Ladbrokes customer placed a £1 ten-team accumulator across the Easter weekend, correctly predicting no less than three draws and a huge upset in the Bundesliga.
And while several results landed with relative ease, a Monaco winner in the 86th minute on Sunday afternoon ensured the bet was still alive heading into the last few legs.
There was plenty more drama to come though!
The anonymous punter backed a draw in the Stuttgart v Heidenheim game, but must have thought the bet was a loser when the hosts took a 2-0 lead in the 53rd minute, only for the visitors to claw back not one, not two, but three goals against the run of play – their only three shots on target.
The last of those goals appeared to be an 85th minute winner, but up stepped Brighton loanee Deniz Undav to net the equaliser with 98 minutes on the clock, securing a point for Stuttgart and over 23 grand for one Ladbrokes punter.
“In terms of small stakes and huge returns, this has to go down as the best bet we've seen so far this season,” Ladbrokes’ Alex Apati told FreeTips.com.
“A lot of the hard work was done on Saturday, when Dortmund got the better of bitter rivals Bayern Munich at 5/1, but to pick out three draws from across Europe's top tiers, and to land just over £23k from just a £1 stake will definitely take some beating. Incredible stuff.”
