2026 Champion Chase Entries
The firm-favourite for this year's Queen Mother is Willie Mullins' Majborough. Mark Walsh's mount was the beaten favourite in the Arkle 12 months ago and disappointed on his first two starts this term, but shot to the head of the Cheltenham Festival betting following a rampant front-running victory in the Dublin Chase.
Marine Nationale made the most of a final flight tumble from Quilixios to claim an emphatic victory in last year's Champion Chase. Barry Connell's star ran a blinder when second on his reappearance at Leopardstown over Christmas, and was no match for Majborough on heavy ground at Leopardstown.
Multiple Grade One winner Jonbon could represent Nicky Henderson again, following his return to winning ways in the Clarence House. Dan Skelton accounts for three entries, with Shloer Chase winner L'Eau Du Sud, Clarence House runner-up Thistle Ask, and multiple course winner Calico all in contention.
Il Etait Temps dropped down the Champion Chase betting after a tired fall in the Clarence House Chase. Gordon Elliott has handed a Cheltenham entry to Grade One winner Found A Fifty. Other potential runners include Joseph O'Brien's Leopardstown specialist Solness, JPR One for the Tizzards, Eddie Harty's Irish Panther, and Only By Night for Gavin Cromwell.
