2027 Champion Chase Entries
All eyes were on Majborough going into the 2026 Champion Chase. However, it was his unheralded stablemate Il Etait Temps who ran out a hugely impressive winner, and Willie Mullins' diminutive grey now tops the early betting for this season's Queen Mother.
Kargese took the scalp of Kopek Des Bordes when the two met in the 2026 Arkle Challenge Trophy. They could both be aimed at the Champion Chase this season, while Majborough is another possible contender, although he seems more likely to step up in trip. Willie Mullins accounts for four of the first five in the ante-post Cheltenham Festival market.
