Jonny Clayton, known as 'The Ferret,' is expected to secure a victory over Andreas Harrysson at the World Darts Championship. Clayton, a top 10 player in 2025, has demonstrated remarkable performance throughout the year, including several semi-final and final appearances. Despite Harrysson's excellent debut run, including defeating prominent players like Ross Smith and Ricardo Pietreczko, it is predicted that his World Championship journey will come to an end. Clayton is favored to win with the most 180s and take the match by three or more sets.

Jonny Clayton had a fight on his hands to take down Niels Zonneveld in the third round, but I'm predicting this will be an easier victory for The Ferret.

Sweden's Andreas Harrysson has had a dream debut at Ally Pally but his World Championship run can come to an end with a comfortable for Clayton predicted.

Head to Head

This is the first time Clayton and Harrysson have met.

Jonny Clayton Form

Jonny Clayton has maintained his status as a top 10 player throughout 2025 and arrived into the World Championship as a live contender for the title.

The Ferret reached the semi-finals of the World Grand Prix and the World Matchplay this season, while he also reached the final of the World Masters and the World Cup of Darts with Gerwyn Price.

Clayton's biggest success came when winning the Dutch Darts Championship on the European Tour.

He overcame debutant Adam Lipscombe 3-1 in the opening round before getting a walkover in the second round when Dom Taylor was kicked out of the World Championships.

In the third round, Clayton needed to win a decider to get the better of the dangerous Niels Zonneveld 4-3 after a nip and tuck contest.

Andreas Harrysson Form

Swede Andreas Harryson has enjoyed a dream debut in the World Championship with this run to the fourth round.

Having qualified courtesy of victory in the PDC Nordic & Baltic (PDCNB) Tour, Harrysson showed no Ally Pally nerves as he dumped world number 12 Ross Smith out in the first round.

Harrysson then defeated Motomu Sakai 3-0 in the second round before taking another big name scalp with a 4-2 success over world number 33 Ricardo Pietreczko.

Dirty Harrysson, as he is known, has won six times in his career on the Nordic & Baltic Tour and twice on the Challenge Tour.

Verdict

It has been a dream couple of weeks for 50-year-old debutant Harrysson but his run is tipped to come to an end against Clayton.

Back the Welshman to win with most 180s and also to win this fourth round clash by three or more sets.
