Magic enter Stake Ranked Episode 2 following a very promising run at PGL Astana, where they placed fourth.
In Astana, magic fought their way through the group stage, beating K23, HEROIC, and Gentle Mates, before taking down 9z Team in the quarterfinals. That was the end of the road for them, as magic could not make it past Team Falcons and MOUZ.
Despite the two defeats, magic have shown promise and played very solid games against weaker opponents. This does make them relatively unproven, although 3DMAX should not present a much tougher challenge in their current state.
